Worship at St. Alban's Church, Offerton

Worship is at the heart of parish life at St. Alban's. The church offers a diverse pattern of worship throughout the week, both contemporary and traditional. St. Alban's seeks to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in Offerton through worship, example and service - making Christ known to the world.

Service times and information

Please note, that due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, most activities at the Church are suspended.

Regular services at St. Alban's are as follows. Visitors are very warmly welcome to any services taking place at the church. Please note that times are subject to change throughout the year.


8.00am Said Eucharist (BCP) (First and third Sunday of month)
A quiet, traditional Communion service.
10.30am Sung Eucharist 
The principal Sunday service with hymns, sermon, choir and children's groups.
The First Sunday of the month is an "All Age Worship" service - ideal for families.


9.15am Morning Prayer


10.30am Said Eucharist (at St. John's Church, Marple Road) 
A simple Communion service with hymns and short sermon.


10.30am Babies and Toddlers Praise and Play 
Playtime, stories, crafts and fun for 0-6 year olds and their carers.


3.30pm Messy Church (First Saturday of every month) 
Fun, crafts, songs, games and food for 4-11 year olds and their carers.
