    Worship is at the heart of parish life at St. Alban's. The church offers a diverse
    pattern of worship throughout the week, both contemporary and traditional.


Service times and information

Regular services at St. Alban's are as follows. Visitors are very warmly welcome to any services taking place at the church. Please note that times are subject to change throughout the year.


8.00am      Said Eucharist (BCP) (First Sunday of month)
                   A quiet, traditional Communion service.

11.15am    Sung Eucharist 
                   The principal Sunday service with hymns, sermon, choir and children's groups.
                   The First Sunday of the month is an "All Age Worship" service - ideal for families.

6.00pm    Storytime Service 
                   A short bedtime story and song for 0-11 year olds and their carers, followed by
                             hot chocolate and marshmallows!


10.30am    Said Eucharist (at St. John's Church, Marple Road) 
                    A simple Communion service with hymns and short sermon.


10.30am    Babies and Toddlers Praise and Play 
                   Playtime, stories, crafts and fun for 0-6 year olds and their carers.


3.30pm      Messy Church (First Saturday of every month) 
                   Fun, crafts, songs, games and food for 4-11 year olds and their carers.


9.45am      Morning Prayer
                   Prayer to start the day. Please contact us for further information.
