Worship at St. Alban's Church, Offerton

Worship is at the heart of parish life at St. Alban's. The church offers a diverse pattern of worship throughout the week, both contemporary and traditional. St. Alban's seeks to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in Offerton through worship, example and service - making Christ known to the world.

Service times and information

Regular services are held at St. Alban's and St John's and visitors are warmly welcome to any of the services. Please note that times may change throughout the year.

Sunday

9am Holy Communion (BCP) (First Sunday of month)
A quiet, traditional Communion service.
10.30am Holy Communion (Common Worship)>
The principal Sunday service with hymns, sermon, children's groups.
The First Sunday of the month is an "All Age Worship" service - ideal for families.
4pm 4@4 Contemporary Service (Fourth Sunday of month
A contemporary service of music, praise and prayer on the fourth Sunday of the month at 4pm.

Tuesday

10.30am Praise and Play (Term time only)
Playtime, stories, crafts and fun for 0-4 year olds and their carers.

Wednesday

10.30am Said Eucharist (at St. John's Church, Marple Road)
A simple Communion service with hymns and short sermon.

Saturday

3.30pm Messy Church (First Saturday of every month)
Fun, crafts, songs, games and food for 4-11 year olds and their carers.
